Over 40,000 people have accessed my A1–B2 German courses completely free of charge since April 1. If SmarterGerman has helped you, you can now help others benefit too—especially those who can't afford lessons.
Just $2 covers one full month of learning for 8 people.
To keep this model alive, I need to raise $10,000/month (Phase I). In May, support was only $3,550. If we don’t reach the 10k goal by month’s end, I’ll start preparing a return to a paid model.
You can make a real difference:
– Contribute $2 or more, if you can
– Share this project with others who believe in accessible education

Just two things that I added to the song:
"Weiter kommt man ohne ihr" (=without her) is the Berlin dialect. In Hochdeutsch (that's the "dialect" that you are learning in any language school in Germany) that would be "Weiter kommt man ohne sie" (=without her) but you hopefully already see that that simply doesn't rhyme ;)
"Ăśber Leichen gehen" (=lit. to go over corpses) is an idiom for being reckless.
