Manual Preaching

For today's Preaching imagine you are in a café. To order things we use the following phrase: "Ich hätte gerne" - I would like to have. Don't worry about the grammar behind this. That'll be explained to you in due time. Luckily, to order a coffee in Germany you don't need to understand the Konjunktiv II ;) Note: Of course in real life you could also instantly say: “Ich hätte gerne einen kleinen Kaffee”, but for the sake of practice stick to the following pattern:

Pattern
A: Hätten Sie gerne article- + groß- + trigger?
B: Nein, danke. Ich hätte lieber article- + klein- + trigger.
A: Dann bekommen Sie article- + klein- + trigger.
B: Oder vielleicht nehme ich doch article- + groß- + trigger?

If the text Speechnotes transcribed is different by a lot from the transcription below, don't worry about it. You will do this a couple more times and you will see an improvement. If Speechnotes doesn't understand you, try to speak slowly, more articulated and use an external microphone e.g. a headset.
