L01 - Vocab Training

The vocabulary training is one-directional which means you won't have to write or speak any complex German words here but you only have to recognise it. One example: If you had to write down the German word for "Federal Constitutional Court" you'd struggle 10x as hard to find the right word than you would if you only had to recognise "das Bundesverfassungsgericht" and remembering that this is "the Federal Constitutional Court" in German.

For the LID exam you won't have to write or say any German words at all. So why waste time on practicing that? You also very likely will never ever again have to use any of the words in this course in daily life.

Work on your Vocabulary whenever you got 5-10mins e.g. waiting for a bus or sitting on the toilet. It's more helpful to spend 3x 10mins a day on this than 1x 30mins.

How to work with it

Simply CLICK HERE TO GO TO VOCAB and go back to it when you got a few minutes to spare, this vocabulary is the most basic words you'll need in order to understand most of the questions in your test.

Warning: Please keep in mind that the vocabulary training is the least (!) important part of your preparation for the LID exam. Do not fool yourself into thinking that all you need is sufficient vocabulary. That's simply dead wrong.
