2) you must highlight only the article and the noun. If you highlight the period at the end of a sentence, it will be counted as a mistake.

You'll find two exercises below. In the first exercise, please highlight the subject in the sentences. The subject is the one performing the action described by the verb.


In the second exercise, please highlight the direct objects in the sentences. The direct object is the one affected by the action described by the verb.
