Set your goal

Setting a goal requires a bit of thought. There are good goals and bad goals:

A "bad" goal looks like this:
I want to learn German.

A "good" goal looks like this:
I'll pass my A1 exam by the end of April with a pass mark of 60% or above.

Got it?

A good goal is always specific and has a realistic deadline. Watch the video above for a full explanation and for some examples:

Your action

Step 01: Write down a specific goal

Write down your specific and measurable goal. Do not proceed before you have completed this task. This is the heart of this course and the most important step to your success.

Step 02: Set a realistic deadline

Now add a realistic deadline. If you are not certain yet, what is realistic, pick a spontaneous deadline without much thinking. You can adjust that in step three or later when you come to the duration calculation for my German courses. Rough guideline assuming 1.5 hours of learning time daily:

A1-B1 Course: 6 months
B2 Course: 6 months
C1 Course: 6 months
