Herzlich willkommen bei SmarterGerman. My name is Michael and I'd love to share a few words of wisdom with you after over 30 years of dealing with learning and teaching languages.

When one sets out to learn German, there’s simply an overload of information to deal with. Allow me to be your guide through this jungle and to safely guide you towards your goal. I’ve not only walked this path many many times myself but I also accompanied thousands of learners on their way to happiness since 1999. I can be a knowledgeable and caring companion on your journey if you want me by your side.

In case of an emergency, i.e. whenever you feel overwhelmed, what happened is that you have possibly tried to take in too much information at once or you got lost at one point which happens at times. Life also can be demanding and leave little energy for studying German at times. The moment you realise that you are feeling stressed out, simply drop everything and remember
